The Beaches International Jazz Festival is one of Canada's largest free jazz festivals with nearly 1,000,000 attendees throughout its month-long span each July. Betta Breeders Canada is the official Canadian chapter of the International Betta Congress (IBC). The club is home to breeders, enthusiasts and pet owners alike, striving to educate the public about proper care, health and breeding practices for betta fish including show fish and wild species. Quarterly in-person meetings happen in and around the GTA, and the club co-hosts two sanctioned IBC shows per year.
The Bike Brigade is a group of 1000+ volunteer cyclists delivering food and other essentials by bike across Tkaronto (Toronto). We work directly with equity-seeking groups, food banks and other non-profits that are supporting vulnerable folks and underinvested communities in our city. Community Centre 55, otherwise known as Centre 55, is an agency of the City of Toronto and a registered charity serving the Beaches-East York community since 1975. We offer a variety of adult educational and recreational programs and we are a multi-site licensed child care provider serving the needs of families with children ages 18 months to 13 years. Incorporated in 1981, Charles Street Video (CSV) is a non-profit, membership-based artist centre. The venue hosts over 200 shows a year and is currently operated by Live Nation Canada.

Every year, North York Community House serves over 15,000 residents in northwest Toronto. We provide ongoing settlement services, language classes, and employment support to newcomers to Canada to help them settle in their new community. We offer parenting groups, after-school and youth programs, and seniors programs to help children, youth, and families build skills, confidence, and community. We facilitate training, workshops, and community groups to build civic awareness, engaging residents to take collective action to improve their neighbourhoods.
Formed in 1973 as the Toronto Faceting Society, a group of hobbyists dedicated to the art of faceting gemstones. The guild offers a supportive community for learning about stones and developing the skills needed to facet them, including monthly meetings, presentations, workshops, skill development sessions and mentoring. Faceting machines are available for rent to experienced members.
Not Far From The Tree is Toronto's fruit tree harvesting program, founded in 2008. We pick fruit in people's yards – what we call Toronto's urban orchard – and share the bounty with organizations that feed fellow Torontonians. When a tree owner can't keep up with their harvest, we mobilize a volunteer team to pick the fruit, and then split it: 1⁄3 to the tree registrant, 1⁄3 split amongst the volunteers, and 1⁄3 donated to one of our community agency partners.

A hobby club that meets monthly to fold as well as exchange ideas on the art of paperfolding. The society is involved in community events around the city and has participated at venues such as Harbourfront Centre, the Art Gallery of Ontario and the Royal Ontario Museum.
